Disconnect

A phone-first remote for a local coding agent. Keep working with the agent on your machine when you’re away from the desk.

Disconnect lab interface: a central chat workspace, message composer, Library, Now, Tools, and Link navigation, with Grok connected in the right-hand panel.

Accounts

Disconnect now has a build-stage account system. This is onboarding only, not the lab chat remote and not a hosted coding agent. It is not open for public signup.

Working in lab

  • Email signup, verification, sign-in, and sign-out
  • Password reset only through an emailed link (verified addresses only; saving a new password signs out every session)
  • Profile name, and email change via both inboxes
  • Session list and sign-out of other sessions
  • Account deletion via emailed confirmation. Opening the mail does not delete the account by itself
  • Transactional mail in the same look as the account page, plus a plain-text part
  • Install card and home-screen files; phone install is not verified yet
  • No computers connected. Pairing is next, not now

Still closed

  • No public signup
  • No agent in the browser from an account
  • No computer companion, pairing codes, push alerts, or payments
  • The lab Grok connection remains private and separate from accounts

Next

  1. Add to Home Screen on a real phone
  2. Computer companion: the agent stays on your machine
  3. Pairing, alerts, and later paid access

Connections

I’m currently polishing support for connections beyond Grok CLI. The next integrations in the pipeline are Codex CLI, Claude Code, and local models that support ACP (Agent Client Protocol).

These connections are lab frontend work. They are not part of the account system. Grok CLI is the current lab connection, and Disconnect remains in the lab with no public release yet.
